Isle of Arran Trip 2018

The last week of term saw a group of 33 students enjoy the outdoor delights of the Isle of Arran.

We rock climbed, kayaked, abseiled, gorge walked, seal watched and sailed in beautiful surroundings.

Night time activities included fire building on the beach and successfully boiling eggs on our fires- survival skills at their best!! We learned about the lifeboats in a hands on way, and enjoyed one of the highlights each year of a traditional Scottish ceilidh which saw us exhausted but exuberant!

We left having made so many memories, challenged ourselves more than we could have imagined and made new friends.  For some this will be their only opportunity of trying these new skills and be proud of what they achieved and for others- they’ll be back next year!!
