Student Services Administrator (Job Share)

Salary: Grade 3 Scp 3-5, £10,341- £10,688

Hours: 20 hours per week: Term Time only + 1 day

Monday-Friday 11.30am -3.30pm

Newland School for Girls are seeking a Student Services Administrator to work in our Student Services reception area at Newland School For Girls.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual. The successful applicant will be providing routine first aid support, issuing and updating uniform stock as well as routine administrative duties associated with the post. You will have good communication and IT skills and take pride in your work. You should have a calm and supportive manner as this is a front-facing role with students. A knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is essential, as is a first aid qualification or commitment to be trained and deliver first aid.

We are looking for an exceptional Teacher of Design Technology; someone who will deliver effective teaching and learning in Design Technology, raising attainment and progress through innovative first-wave teaching, tracking and intervention as they go. We would welcome applications from candidates willing to teach Food Technology and/or a willingness to teach Product Design if the need arises.

Required to start for September, we are expanding our Cover Supervisor team.

We are seeking an energetic individual with a strong commitment to working with young people in an education setting. As a Cover Supervisor you will work across the age range 11 to 16 covering lessons for absent colleagues, working under the guidance of teaching staff to implement work programmes with individuals/groups in or out of the classroom, including the supervision of whole classes during the short term absence of teachers. In addition you will support the out of hours academic provision for learners. You will manage the behaviour of students in line with the academy’s Behaviour Policy.

You should have Level 2 Qualifications in English and Maths or equivalent and be keen to undergo further development/education. Full training and support will be given for the right candidate.
