Transition Week will no longer be face to face at Newland School for Girls but will be delivered virtually in your daughter's primary school.  The timetable of work is below and your daughter will have received a workbook to accompany the lessons. We are still planning for summer school and expecting every student.  We have a place for all Y7 students and are expecting all to attend in the first week of the holidays from Monday, July 26th to Friday, July 30th.  This will be beyond July 19th and also not require a move back to primary school therefore new class bubbles can be put in place, if you still need to book your place, please complete the form Summer School

 

I hope very soon that we can meet in person and ensure a great start to your daughter’s journey at Newland. The strength of our school is its people – the teachers, the students and the parents – so I hope that very soon you get to experience Team Newland.

Although we are unable to hold large events, we are offering a Tour of the School Monday-Thursday, 3.30-4.00pm.  This will be by appointment only.  To make an appointment for you and your daughter to visit, please contact Mrs Iveson, Y7 Pastoral Manager, on 01482 343098 ext 255.  Appointments will be available from Monday, 21st June and will run to Wednesday, July 21st.  All adults are required to wear a face mask on premises (normal exemptions apply) and respond to a Health Screen prior to the visit.
